The Sewphisticated Stitcher’s Start & Expansion
Based in Seymour, Wisconsin, The Sewphisticated Stitcher opened in June 2003 as an online store selling needles, thread and stabilizer. The company expanded in 2005 by launching a sister company, Discount Embroidery Blanks, a wholesale online store selling a large selection of blanks for commercial and home embroidery businesses. To accommodate its growing clientele, the company built a warehouse in 2007 in Seymour, Wisconsin. The warehouse, located in the Seymour Industrial Park area at 1050 Robbins Street, was expanded in 2009 with a mezzanine and dock, and Lyn Leisgang joined the staff. Lyn became the store’s general manager in 2015 and owner in January 2020. In June 2020, Lyn created the storefront. Throughout the years, Lyn has gained an expertise in embroidery supplies and is passionate about serving customers, domestically and internationally.
